A continuation of the “Targeted Solo Weekend Photography Trip” idea I first tested out with my trip to Valley of Fire State Park.

This time, I took a long weekend and flew in to Las Vegas on a Thursday morning, grabbed amazing tacos (again), and drove up to St George, Utah, about 2 hours away from Las Vegas. Here I explored all over, from Snow Canyon State Park to the very edge of Zion National Park, flying back on Saturday night to arrive back home to my family on Sunday morning.

In those three quick days, I got so much photography value and experienced my most amazing photography moment to date (capturing a lenticular cloud in the pitch black of night, completely by chance).
